Summer School 2022 [41 Players]
In a bit of branding oversight, we threw this year’s Summer School league after taking almost the whole summer off Middle School. There was an appetite for it: 41 players registered, including a handful of new faces.
For now, we seemed to have moved past the days of Landstill dominating the meta. The field and Top 8 were a great mix of archetypes – aggro, control, and combo were all well represented – but with a pretty strong Green bias.
Our friend in Virginia Gregg Graham blew up lands and filled his graveyard straight to the top. Congrats, Gregg! That puts us at Green winning three-for-three of our leagues this year, with Armageddon in two of them. The Fall Semester kicks off on October 10th; will we finally see another color unseat these nature mages?
